Do I need a passport to cross the border? How much does
it cost to cross the border?
A: Currently
you do not need a passport to cross the border. There
is no charge to cross the border between the U.S. and
Mexico.

Were can I find a good cup of coffee?
A: Visit
Coffee’s Haus - Located on the main drag going into
Old Port in Rocky Point. This has become a “hot
spot” for breakfast, snacks and best of all, Homemade
German pastries. Yummy! They are open Tuesday - Saturday
8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00
p.m., closed Monday.
Q:
Can I catch rabies from the animals in
the streets? I was told not to feed them as they could
have diseases like rabies?
A:
In recent years, there has not been a rabies outbreak
in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. (Source: JoinUs Newspaper-November
2005). If you want to feed an animal and stop the hunger
pangs temporarily, then feel free to do so. While many
would not recommend this, but if it makes you feel good
to know you made a difference, that day, in that animals
life, then do what makes you feel good….
