ATV Riding Laws
ATV's are NOT
allowed on any beach within city limits nor on Fremont Blvd.
or Benito Juarez Blvd.
Please follow these guidelines when riding
in Mexico: Always wear a helmet, do not drink and drive,
no more than 2 riders per bike, do not drive at night, don't
speed – maximum speed limit is 25 mph, don't pass
on the right, no riders under the age of 16, do not race
others, do not jump, do wheelies or donuts, always abide
by traffic laws, signed and guidelines. If you are stopped
by traffic police, DO NOT pay any fines to the officer.
Pay fines only at City Hall. Report bribes to 383-2626.

In Mexico, possession of
any firearm without proper authorization by the Mexican
authorities is considered a "Firearms Offense"
and carries stiff penalties. Possession of a single weapon
carries a penalty of up to 5 years in Mexican prison. Sentences
for possession of firearms in Mexico can be as long as 30
years. U.S. Citizens should comply with all Mexican laws
on arms or ammunition, including any arms they may wish
to bring in for hunting.
