Flying

Penasco Airport:
The airport is located on the North end of Rocky Point.
Currently there are plans for expansion and improvements
which include a longer, lighted runway, increased security
measures along with a customs facility in the near future.
If you are intending on flying
your own plane into Mexico consult Airport in advance for
a complete list of information you may need. The Airport
Manager can be reached at 011-52-638-383-6097. If you are
planning on flying your own plane into Rocky Point you must
have the following: Pilots License & Medical Certificate,
Airplane Registration & Air Worthiness Certificate,
Mexican Airplane Insurance. The airport is located 3 miles
north of town. No fuel available.
